Interesting review. I will probably not read this book….as you know, it’s not my usual genre, and after tht review….nah….l have read books that tug my emotions this way and that and I want it to be meaningful and gentle when that happens. Maybe Beckett is controlling and he doesn’t realize it, but it shows up in his personality even when trying to help. Anyhow, thanks for a good review. L. E. H.
I love all your reviews. I seem to like the written ones more than the spoken ones, but maybe I’m in the minority….anyhow, they’re always good. Sounds like I should read “Clover”.
